Itinerary: Kbal Spean, ACCB, and Banteay Srei Tour

Morning
8:00 AM – Pick-Up from Your Hotel

Start your day with a pick-up from your Siem Reap hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle or tuk-tuk (as preferred).
9:00 AM – Kbal Spean ("The River of a Thousand Lingas")

Drive to Kbal Spean, located about 50 kilometers north of Siem Reap.
Take a guided trek through the forest (about 1.5 km uphill) to explore the ancient carvings along the riverbed.
Admire the intricate lingas, carvings of Hindu deities, and flowing waterfalls (best in the wet season).
Enjoy the tranquility of the forest and the significance of this sacred site.
11:30 AM – Visit ACCB (Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity)

Located near Kbal Spean, the ACCB is Cambodia's first wildlife rescue and conservation center.
Join a guided tour to learn about their work in wildlife conservation, education, and animal rehabilitation.
See rescued species such as gibbons, hornbills, and other endangered animals in their care.
Perfect for understanding Cambodia's biodiversity and conservation efforts.

Afternoon
12:30 PM – Lunch Break

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near Kbal Spean or Banteay Srei. Your guide can recommend options for traditional Khmer cuisine.
1:30 PM – Banteay Srei ("The Citadel of Women")

Explore this stunning pink sandstone temple, renowned for its detailed carvings and intricate designs depicting Hindu mythology.
Learn about the temple’s history and its unique architecture, which differs from other Angkorian temples.
Take time to appreciate the serene setting and smaller crowds compared to Angkor Wat.
3:30 PM – Return Journey

Stop at a local village on the way back to observe traditional crafts such as palm sugar production or weaving, depending on time and interest.
You can also shop for souvenirs or local products to support the community.

4:30 PM – Drop-Off at Your Hotel
