ITINERARY 

6:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up
Start your birding adventure with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Siem Reap. Travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park, home to a wide range of bird species.

6:30 AM – Birding at Srah Srang and Ta Prohm
Explore the area around Srah Srang, a beautiful reservoir, and Ta Prohm, where ancient trees and ruins create a perfect habitat for forest birds like the Brown Fish Owl, Black Baza, and Asian Barred Owlet.

9:30 AM – Breakfast Break
Enjoy a packed breakfast amidst the tranquil surroundings of the Angkor jungle.

10:00 AM – Birding at Preah Khan and Neak Pean
Continue your tour at these less-crowded temple sites, known for their wetland habitats. Spot waterbirds, including egrets, herons, and the Black-headed Ibis.

12:30 PM – Lunch Break
Savor a traditional Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant near the temples.

2:00 PM – Afternoon Birding at Angkor Wat Moat and Surroundings
Explore the iconic Angkor Wat and its surrounding moat area, a prime location for spotting birds like the Oriental Darter, Stork-billed Kingfisher, and Black-capped Kingfisher.

4:30 PM – Sunset Birding at Phnom Bakheng or West Baray
Conclude the day with birding at a serene sunset spot. Enjoy views of the landscape while observing birds like parakeets, pigeons, and woodpeckers.

5:30 PM – Return to Siem Reap
Head back to your hotel with memories of the diverse bird species and stunning temple landscapes.

Dress Code Information: To enter the temple complex, please wear long pants that cover your knees and a long-sleeved shirt that covers your shoulders. Shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed.
