1-Day Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei Highlights

Morning Tour:

8:00 AM: Visit Angkor Thom
Start your day at Angkor Thom, the grand walled city built by King Jayavarman VII. Focus on Bayon Temple, known for its 200+ enigmatic stone faces of Buddha. Explore other notable sites within Angkor Thom, including:

Baphuon: A large temple mountain with impressive ruins.
Phimeanakas: A royal temple situated within the former palace grounds.
Elephant Terrace: Used for royal ceremonies and adorned with elephant carvings.
Terrace of the Leper King: Featuring intricate carvings and a statue of the leper king.
Visit Preah Palilay Temple
Head to Preah Palilay, a more tranquil and less crowded site known for its peaceful ambiance and partially restored structures. This site offers a quiet respite and a glimpse into the lesser-known aspects of Khmer architecture.
Lunch Break
Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy traditional Cambodian dishes and recharge before continuing your exploration (lunch is on your own account).
Afternoon Tour:

Visit Ta Prohm
